This was a fantastic event to cover (and organize as I’m on the board for Art+Copy in Kansas City). We organized a legacy roast for an Ad Club celebrity and as the inaugural winner it was an absolute honor to celebrate Tim’s long and legendary career.

I went to photograph Tim Hamill from Bernstein Rein’s beautiful herd of horses today. They’re out on a ranch in Lawrence, KS, and after a bit of searching with some very pleasant canine companions we stumbled upon them in a beautiful piece of pasture land. My favorite was the young foal who decided I was a scratching post. It was a fantastic shoot with some beautiful light, colors and textures and brought the joy of checking for ticks when I got home!
