Rico is a really good friend of mine so I was very happy to offer to capture imagery of the first annual Real Deal Tattoo Convention. The event was a fantastic success and one that I can’t wait to capture again in 2008.

I must admit I don’t photograph many live events but I couldn’t let this one get away. Ryan Maybee from JP Wine Bar invited me to participate in doing my charity work for the week and capture the fabulous 2007 Bartender Competition for KC to benefit the HALO Foundation. A great event and a wonderful experience; please have a flick through some of the moments from the show. Talking about charity; let’s get together and buy the Uptown a “w” - way to ruin a great shot!
