Jürgen approached me to photograph for Lore Magazine in early 2007; he gave some incredible houses to capture and a wonderful assignment recording the Plaza with the Christmas lights ablaze. This relationship later developed into a great portrait shoot at the Topeka Capital with a lot of humor and personality.
“I’ve had a few occasions to work with Alistair and found his manner professional and progressive. He has been responsive, efficient, and creative. The results in our magazine have been splendid.”

The Two Karens - Lore Magazine
This was a really cool shoot involving a wonderful couple of people. We drove out to distant Topeka and captured the two Karen’s who between them run the Kansas Association of Realtors. We got to run all over the State Capitol and captured some great shots inside the new speaking chambers and the two Karen’s were great fun to work with. Here’s an on-line version of the article.

Kansas City Country Club Plaza - Lore Magazine
I just got back from shooting the ever popular Kansas City Country Club Plaza in all it’s illuminated winter finery. It’s part of a spankingly new article on Kansas City by Lore Magazine - “Live’s in Real Estate”. If you haven’t seen the Plaza in the winter they absolutely smother it in light bulbs and it’s darn unique. Here’s an on-line version of the article.
